![]() ![]() ![]() The food was “cooked” disturbingly quickly and the smell of rotting seafood worsened. I was absolutely shocked at the price for what it is. The chef, a big man with some dirty rags on practically ran up to us upon entry and very aggressively said that you can pay with cash only, so I had to pop out a walk down the road to the nearest ATM. The restaurant is tiny and crammed in and its a very uncomfortable experience having the chef watching you closely when you are sitting down. I cannot believe that this place is legal, they really shouldn’t be allowed to sell food. were very hungry and at this time all the other fish and chip shops were packed to the hilt and we didn’t want to queue in the cold. The table cloths were sticky and covered in ketchup and mustard. Firstly, we were hit with a very strange smell like rotting fish or out-of-date seafood, which was very offputting. Went in here last Monday with my 2 daughters. When my sister went to pay hers she asked to have some chips wrapped he shouted at her that our kids were too loud! And we should have had ordered take away as we all ate kids meals! Not the case admittedly 2 of the adults did one because she is pregnant the other unfortunately has a eating disorder! Frankly we were all shocked with how we were treated after spending £150 and eating here previously. When it came to paying we had separate bills. The younger staff were so good and helpful even though they had the manager being rude and talking down to them I felt so sorry for them you could literally hear everything from the kitchen. However within 5 minutes of sitting down the male ‘manager’ came storming over to my 3 year old son because he was being loud And told him to be quiet took the menu off him and removed the vase of flowers off the table in such a rude manner I couldn’t quite believe it!! He made me feel like my son was so naughty when he wasn’t just purely being a 3 year old!! Anyway we ordered food and drinks and ate our lunch. sit on separate tables this was not a problem as we had to do this last time we ate here. The restaurant wasn’t very busy when we turned up so we got seated easily but as the restaurant is small we had to. (During the school holidays) was a fairly large group of 6 adults and 9 kids.
